A Holy Week Event featuring The Saint John's Bible

Illumination of the crucifixion in gold. All are welcome to attend an interactive "turning of the page" event featuring, for the first time, six volumes of The Saint John's Bible, Heritage Edition. The event will take place Tuesday, April 16th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Murdock Library Special Collections Room in Newberg.

The event will include an introduction by Professor Paul Anderson followed by time to explore and view a turning of the page for each volume, focusing on the spiritual and artistic masterpieces within this historic integration of Christianity and culture.

About The Saint John's Bible, Heritage Edition: The Heritage Edition is a fine art edition of the original Saint John’s Bible, a modern hand-written and illuminated Bible. Created under the direction of Donald Jackson, these limited editions are being shared in communities around the world. George Fox University Libraries currently house 6 of the 7 volumes.
